Weddings at Central SDA Church may be used on any day of the week except between Friday night and Saturday night, provided that this does not conflict with any previously-scheduled event at the Church. If you are granted permission to use the Church on Saturday evening after sundown, please note that the church cannot be decorated or used for rehearsals during the Sabbath hours.
Your thoughtful consideration of the following will be greatly appreciated:
A wedding is a worship service, and members of the wedding party are expected to respect and conduct themselves in a manner befitting the atmosphere of a place of worship.
Smoking is not permitted inside any part of the church building.
No food or beverage is permitted in the Worship Center.
No alcoholic beverages shall be served or consumed in the church building, on the grounds, or on the parking lot. Please notify all members of the wedding party of this policy.
Only bird seed and bubbles may be thrown outside the church building. Confetti, rice, and like materials are banned. Any exceptions will require special approval.
Breakage or damage of any church equipment or property must be reimbursed at the replacement purchase cost. If replacement is needed, your Security Deposit will be applied, and any amounts above and beyond such Security Deposit will be expected within thirty (30) days of your wedding.
All wedding music to be played or performed for wedding and reception must be approved by the Church Wedding Coordinator prior to wedding. Please arrange for a pianist and soloist for the rehearsal, wedding, and reception.
The wedding party is responsible for all decorating, tear-down, and gathering of personal items from the church premises. Please make sure that you have designated personnel to move church furniture and miscellaneous items back to their original position. We thank you in advance for making arrangements to leave the church as you found it when you arrived.
The wedding party is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of all rented items from wedding rental businesses. Please avoid scheduling any deliveries to the Church during Sabbath hours.
